I worked with the DeepSight team at Intuitive Surgical which comes under the Future Forward Research organization. I worked on building computer vision solutions around the Da Vinci robot's surgeon side console. I was mentored by Omid Mohareri and Reza Khodayi Mehr.

I'm currently a Research Assistant at the University of California San Diego. I work at the 4DCELL Lab on Deep Learning for Cellular Imaging to better understand Neuro-Degenerative diseases. I also work at the Advanced Robotics and Controls Lab and the Human-Centered Extended Intelligence Lab on Contextual AI for Mixed Reality Surgery.

I was a research assistant at the Medical Imaging and Reconstruction Lab at IIT Madras. I worked on applying machine learning techniques to solve problems in the medical domain, like detecting brain tumors from MRI images, as well as improving explainability and human-understandability of deep learning techniques.

I worked at Honeywell with the Advanced Technology and Display and Graphics teams as an intern for a period of 6 months. I was mentored by Satyanarayan Kar. I worked on mainly two projects - implementing deep learning algorithms for detecting anomalous flight landings, and designing an algorithm for causal inference on neural networks.
