freeweAR
Wearables for tangible interactions with mixed reality and ubicomp environments

This project was aimed at building a customizable and unobtrusive, flexible electronics based wearable device which would act as an intuitive interaction modality in mixed-reality and ubicomp environments. This aimed to address issues with traditional interaction modes, such as gesture based and hand-held device based modalities - fatigue, space constraints, hands-free interaction, bulkiness etc. We successfully demonstrated how freeWear was able to solve these issues, providing an intuitive, user-customizable, and minimalistic interface. (My work is under an NDA at this time and will be published soon).
